The State Election has been announced, March 24 is the day.
"The 4118 Club is not affiliated with any political party and does not promote any political agenda"
All of our members and associates will interested in how this election will effect their business and to this end, the 4118 Club Committee has been able to organise a political debate for our luncheon on Wednesday the 15th February.
The 4 announced candidates (as at today's date) have been invited and have all said they will participate in this debate.
The candidates are
Australian Labour Party - Linus Power
LNP - To Be Advised on New Candidate
Independant - Mike Kelly
Katters Australia Party - Tony Karamatic
For this event to be successful, we need "you" to send us the questions you would like answered by the participants. The questions can be addressed to all speakers and/or individual candidates. The questions need to be forwarded to the club by Thursday 8th February.
Our President Robin Boyd will moderate the questions and responses which will give all participants a fair hearing.
We want you to ask questions that willl be relevant to you and your future, not the past.
We will be limiting the attendance to 80 people, so book early to avoid disappointment. The luncheon will commence 15 minutes earlier at 11.45am and conclude at 2.30pm an extra 30 minutes to allow enough time to cover all questions.
This will be one of our most interesting luncheons in recent times, so please participate with your attendance and questions.
