4118 Club - Your Local Business Networking Association  for Logan West

4118 Club Purpose

The 4118 Club was formed to allow local and surrounding business people to network and socialise within a friendly atmosphere and environment, while getting to know each others business and what’s available within the area. Ultimately, keeping money within the local community by using the expertise of businesses in their vicinity.

Lunch Meetings

Luncheons are held on the 3rd WEDNESDAY of each month with the exception of December and January. They are currently held at the Lone Star Steak House, Browns Plains Road, Browns Plains beginning at 11.45am  and closing at approximately 2pm. Our meetings include a guest speaker and an excellent meal at a great meeting place for you and your guests.

JULY 2010 SPEAKER

July luncheon was another great success.  Senior Sergnet Michael Leafe from Browns Plains Police was our guest speaker.  Michael was very informative explaining the infastructive of the Browns Plains station, the responsiblites of the Police in the area. Some of the statics of crime on the area (obviously home break thieves don't like the cold weather) and the amount of traing the police continually go through. Michael also kindly answered questions from guests and members.

We would like to thank Michael for his valuable time and he will be most welcome at any time to attend our luncheons. Congratulations Michael and a terrific presentation.

August 2010 AGM

August saw us back at the Lone Star Tavern for our Annual General Meeting and networking meeting. Robin Boyd was voted back as President, Mario Lucha and Mirriam Rothera as joint Vice Presidents, and Lynda Boyd as both Secretary and Treasurer.  Vilma Putt, Linda Jobson, Brett Morrision and Geoff Wattie are staying on as committee.  It was also dicussed our upcoming events. Michael Pasco for a breakfast in September (read in upcoming events) Lord Mayor Pam Parker in October, November yet to be confirmed, and a cocktail party in early December.  A enjoyable few hours with good food and people.
