The 4118 Club was formed to allow local and surrounding business people to network and socialise within a friendly atmosphere and environment, while getting to know each others business and what’s available within the area. Ultimately, keeping money within the local community by using the expertise of businesses in their vicinity.




Luncheons are held on the 3rd WEDNESDAY of each month with the exception of December and January. They are currently held at the Park Ridge Tavern, 3773 Mt. Lindsay Highway, Park Ridge beginning at 11.45am  and closing at approximately 2pm. Our meetings include a guest speaker and an excellent meal at a great meeting place for you and your guests.

November 2011

Well we have had the last luncheon for 2011.  Boy has the year flown by, and again we had another successful luncheon with Kim Yablsey from Stratcomm Pty Ltd giving us the "low down" on carbon and the carbon tax.  Like it or not, the tax is coming in as of 1st July 2012, so we all need to be prepared.  Some of our members, the tax will not effect greatly, but for some of our members it will.  And like when the gst came in, we need to be prepared.  This was a topic we could of discussed for hours and the questions came thick and fast.  I hope everyone went away a little wiserand learnt something, because I certainly did.  We will get Kim to come back after the tax is implemented for give us the updates.  We thank Kim for her presentation, even though some of it was a bit scarly in regards to the temperates rising of the earth. We all need to do our bit to help the enviroment.

Our 2011 Christmas Cocktail was a terrifc night. Again Santa gave out Secret Santa gifts (thanks you Chris Fitch for dressing in the red suit) and we where all well looked after with plenty of food by the Park Ridge Tavern.  The party was a very relaxed event with a chance for everyone to wander around and catch up with friends.  Thank you to those who attended and made the night special.
